또한, 우리대학은 세계속의 대학으로 힘차게 전진하기 위해 현재에 안주하지 않고 대학 중장기 발전계획 「VISION 2027」의 5대 발전전략과 16개 전략과제 ,48개 실행과제를 실행에 옮기고 있습니다. 그리고 이를 통해 ‘세계적 수준의 전문기술인재 양성대학 - 2027년 평생고등직업교육 우수대학 TOP5’ 달성이라는 대학비전을 실현하고자 합니다.

연성(硏成)이란 학문과 덕행을 갈고닦아 뜻하는 바를 이룬다는 뜻을 가진 우리대학의 교육철학입니다.

이와같은 교육철학을 기반으로 지성<Cultivated>, 창의<Creative>, 소통<Cooperative> 능력을 겸비한 3C형 인재를 키우기 위해 「Gemstone 교육시스템」이라는 학생 맞춤형 지원체제를 구축했습니다. 무한한 가능성을 가진 원석(Gemstone)을 보석(Gem)으로 성장시키는 체계적 지원체제를 통해 도덕적 품성을 갖추고, 이웃사회와 세계속에서 교류하며, 창의·융합적으로 사고하는 21세기형 인재를 양성하고 있습니다.

이러한 우리 대학의 노력은 최근 교육부 주관 3단계 산학연협력선도전문대학 육성사업(LINC 3.0), 마이스터대학(전문기술석사과정), 고등직업 교육거점지구(HiVE)사업 선정을 통해 구체화되고, 더 나아가 대학의 비전은 현실화되고 있습니다. 이와같이 교육을 최우선으로 하는 책임있는 대학의 모습은 학생들이 희망과 긍지를 가지고 자신의 미래를 설계하는 동력이 될 것입니다.

『Yeonsung University』 has the mission of nurturing creative and ethical talents to contribute in the development of the national industry and local community. Since its\' opening in 1977, Yeonsung University has sustained continuous innovations and an incessant passion for 40 years and has developed into a prestigious vocational college.

Also, our university is never satisfied with the present. To continue marching on to become an international university, we have implemented the 7 strategies and 40 implementation projects of our long term development plan 『ADVANCE 2020』. This has helped us pursue our vision of “becoming a first-rate international vocational college” and “becoming a TOP 5 vocational college domestically by 2020.”

Yeonsung University has established the “Gemstone Education System,” an education program that attempts to nurture unpolished students into shiny gems in the service industry of today\'s 21st century information society. We have also implemented diverse customized programs to nurture 3C-type talents- those that are Cultivated, Creative and Cooperative. These programs include a converged education system to nurture creative talents, ethical education system to nurture morally ethical talents, and communication education system to nurture talents with the skills required to communicate with the local community and internationally.

In the 4th Industrial Revolution era, there is a requirement of skill-based prodigies that vault over the academic clique. Thus, Yeonsung University has implemented the NCS educational programs to nurture students with flawless executive abilities and to prepare itself for the role of a Specialized College of Korea (SCK) in the field of metropolitan knowledge services. Furthermore, as Leaders in industry-college Cooperation (LINC+), we will cooperate with public facilities and outstanding domestic/ foreign corporations to provide practical usage education for our students, which will allow them to learn important in-site tasks. Through an educational system that prioritizes the students, our students will not only possess hope and determination, but will also possess the power to schedule their future.
