올해로 개교 24주년을 맞이한 우리대학은 국내 유일의 『방송예술』 분야 특성화 교육기관으로

2014년 교육부가 선정한 『국가 문화융성을 위한 창의적 방송예술인재 양성 대학교』입니다.

2013년 교육부로부터 세계적 수준의 전문대학교(WCC - World Class College)로 지정되고,

2018년 교육부주관 『자율개선대학』에 선정되면서 국내 최초를 넘어 세계 최고를 향해 가는

『글로벌 창의인재 양성대학』으로 거듭나고 있습니다.

금세기로 접어들면서 국내•외의 방송예술 환경은 그야말로 상전벽해[桑田碧海]라는 말이

무색할 정도로 하루가 다르게 변화하고 발전해 왔습니다.

이와 같은 변화의 물결 속에서 『방송특성화대학』으로 출발한 우리 대학은 마침내

국내 유일의 『방송예술특성화대학』으로 확실하게 자리매김하게 되었습니다.

이는 우리 대학의 설립자이신 공산학원 최원석 이사장님을 비롯하여

대학의 모든 구성원들이 개교 때 품은 첫 마음을 잃지 않고

오로지 『방송예술』이라는 한 우물 파기에만 용왕매진[勇往邁進]하였기에 가능한 일이었습니다.

Started as an institution specializing in media in 1997,

now DIMA is Korea’s best institution specializing in media and arts.

It was possible thanks to our effort to keep up with the rapidly-changing broadcasting environment and the wave of change in the field of media and arts.

In this era of media and art culture, DIMA is dedicated to nurturing our students to be ‘shining stars’ in the field.

To this end,

we have the best broadcasting equipment and facilities and

prominent professors who have accumulated their know-how in the field of media and arts.

Also,

our curriculum adheres to the National Competency Standard outlined by the Ministry of Education,

and focuses on an in-depth,

hands-on approach closely related to actual industry work.

Students require an education which can teach them practical techniques

because sometimes having theoretical knowledge itself is not enough to survive.

With DIMA’s education goal in mind,

we will continue to put effort forth nurture global professionals in media and arts and provide the highest quality education.
