우리대학은 ‘참교육으로 미래를 밝히리라’는 건학이념 아래 1960년 대구·경북 최초의 전문대학으로 설립되어 62년의 역사 동안 고등직업교육 선도대학이라는 자부심으로 국가와 지역사회 발전에 기여할 수 있는 우수한 전문 기술인재를 양성해 왔습니다.

최근 인구구조의 변화, 4차 산업혁명과 코로나19 팬데믹 등 대학을 둘러싼 급변하고 불확실한 환경에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해서 인간 중심적 사고를 기반으로 한 참교육에 기반을 두고 과감한 혁신을 통해 대학의 미래 가치를 만들어 가고자 합니다.

미래사회에 고등직업교육이 나아가야 할 방향은 교육체제 혁신과 교육콘텐츠 개발이라 판단하여 우리대학에서는 산업현장 직무 중심의 에듀테크 교육시스템을 도입하여 교육수요자 맞춤형 교육을 추진하고 있습니다.

Our university can trace its roots back to the first-ever college in the Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do region in 1960 under the founding philosophy of “Illuminating the future with true education.”As a leading university in higher vocational education for the past 62 years, TSU has been developing professionally and technically outstanding individuals who can contribute to the development of the country as well as local communities. In order to preemptively respond to the rapidly changing and uncertain environment surrounding the university, such as the recent changes in demographics, the 4th industrial revolution, and the COVID-19 pandemic, TSU is hoping to create future value for the university with bold innovations inspired by the idea of “true education based on human-centered thinking.” Based on our determination that the right direction for higher vocational education in the future society is to innovate the education system and develop educational contents, our university is promoting customized education for students with an “edutech system” focusing on field experience and practical skills.
