I sincerely welcome you to Daekyeung University. Since Daekyeung University was founded in 1992 at the foot of Docheon Mountain with a unique educational philosophy and differentiated education, Daekyeung has gained numerous achievements including being a recipient of the President’s Prize for specialized education. Daekyeung was selected for the project to reinforce vocational colleges’ educational capacities for 3 consecutive years, designated as a university for Industry-Academy CO-OP educational programs, and has obtained university accreditation.

Daekyeung approaches education with the idea that “Being different surpasses excellence” and has been steadily pursuing the motto, “Difference is the Value”. Our motto emphasizes “the value of accepting” that we are all physically, mentally, and culturally different from each other and embraces the unique “my own value” that exists in each and every one of us.

The integrated Industry-Academy CO-OP education, a central concept of our university, is operated under the idea of “enrollment is employment”. This hands-on, practical curriculum is conducted in various departments at the university. Daekyeung University’s educational system is a new concept which combines running a small-scale specialized company, designed to model its real world counterpart, with traditional classroom education in order for the students to master the skills required for their chosen industry.
