우리 한성대학교는 1972년 우촌(友村) 김의형 박사의 진리(眞理)ㆍ지선(至善)의 교육이념을 바탕으로 설립되었습니다. 지난 반세기 동안 한성대학교는 공동선(共同善)을 추구하는 창조적 인재 양성과 학문 연구에 매진해 왔습니다.

한성대학교는 창의성과 융합능력을 지닌 전문인, 공동체 의식과 윤리적 소양을 갖춘 사회인, 열린 사고와 국제경쟁력을 갖춘 세계인 육성을 통해 건학이념을 구체화하며 발전을 거듭해 왔습니다. 이제는 서울의 중심에서 강소대학의 새로운 학생중심 교육모델로 자리매김하였습니다.

최근의 사회ㆍ경제ㆍ기술적 환경 변화는 대한민국의 고등교육에 끊임없는 혁신을 요구하고 있습니다. 그러면서 대학에 끊임없는 해결과제들을 던져주고 있습니다.

Hansung University was established in 1972 based on the teaching philosophy of the truth and the supreme good of Dr. Uchon Kim Eui-hyung. For the past half century, Hansung University has devoted itself to cultivating creative talents and academic research pursuing Common Good.

Hansung University has been developed by embodying the founding philosophy by fostering professionals with creativity and convergence ability, social people with a sense of community and ethical literacy, and global people with open thinking and international competitiveness. Now it has established itself as a new student-centered educational model for hidden champion university in the center of Seoul.

The recent social, economic, and technological changes are demanding constant innovation in higher education in Korea. At the same time, they are constantly throwing challenges in college.

There are a lot of urgent tasks to be solved in front of us right now. Hansung University is leading educational innovation to cultivate talented people who will lead Korea\'s future in the midst of these changes. By introducing the track system, a student-centered major design system, the boundaries between disciplines have been practically broken, and a truly creative and fusion education is realized.

We, Hansung University, are pursuing constant change and innovation in education and research. We will produce talented people with the creative and fusion capabilities required by the future Korea and excellent talents with a sense of community and ethical literacy with society. We will create a better community through research and education and continuous exchanges and cooperation with the local community. 

It is also important for all families of Hansung to achieve innovation based on communication with one heart. The future of Hansung is the future of Korea. Young Hansung people who are leading the future, professors and employees who will be responsible for Hansung\'s education and Korea’s education, alumnus, and members of the industry and local communities are all protagonists of Korea\'s innovation. All members of Hansung University will cooperate in communicating with the world and creating innovation and the future of education in Korea. This will be a new paradigm shaping the future of Hansung University.
